Peer completed a hazardous materials survey and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of the Former Campbell’s Soup Plant in Worthington, Minnesota. The property, which is targeted for redevelopment, includes a large manufacturing plant and several associated support buildings totaling over 300,000 square feet of building space. The hazardous materials survey included the collection of over 270 asbestos samples and XRF analysis of 100 samples of lead-based paint deemed to be in poor condition. Peer prepared abatement and demolition specifications for the City of Worthington, assisted the City with publicly bidding the abatement and demolition work, and conducted on-site observations and documentation related to the work.
